Z CAM E2-F8 Full Frame 8K Cinema Camera

The Z CAM E2-F8 is a flagship 8K cinema camera with a 35.97 × 23.98 mm full frame CMOS sensor (61 MP), 14 stops of dynamic range, and dual native ISO 400/1250. It shoots 8K 2.4:1 (8192×3456) and 8K UHD (7680×4320) at 30 fps, 6K DCI/UHD at 30 fps, and 4K UHD at up to 60 fps, with optional supersampling from the full sensor width.

Via HDMI it records 12-bit ProRes RAW to an Atomos Ninja V recorder, and internally 12-bit ZRAW (up to 1.2 Gb/s), ProRes, or H.265/H.264 (up to 500 Mb/s) to CFast 2.0 cards. The EF mount with active lock can be swapped for an optional M, MFT, PL, or LPL mount; with the EF and PL mounts the camera supports a slot for the optional electronic eND module.

The aluminum alloy body weighs 1090 g (EF) and needs no active cooling. Connectivity consists of HDMI 2.0 (output up to C4K 60p 10-bit 4:2:2), USB-C 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and LANC remote control; power is provided by Sony NP-F batteries or DC 6.8–16.8 V via a LEMO connector.
