Z CAM bajonet MFT s Active Lock pro E2-M4

Product Introduction:

Micro Four Thirds mount with the Active Lock locking mechanism for Z CAM cameras with the Flagship body. It solves the single but annoying weakness of the standard MFT bayonet latch: a lens has slight play in it and visibly wobbles when pulling focus. The rotating Active Lock ring clamps the lens by its bayonet tabs when locked, so it sits firmly and does not move — with a follow focus or when working on a gimbal, that is the difference between a usable and an unusable shot.

The electronic contacts remain the same as on the standard mount, so the camera still controls iris and focusing (MF / AF / CAF modes) with electronic MFT lenses. The price of the clamping is limited space around the lens flange: lenses and adapters with a noticeably wider base — typically speedboosters — do not fit into the locking ring. Anyone who needs to attach a speedbooster should reach for the plain MFT mount (ZCE2EMFT).

Compatibility: natively the Z CAM E2-M4, E2-M4 Mark II, and E2-M4G Mark II (4/3" sensor); on both Mark II models this mount is factory equipment. Also Z CAM cameras with the Flagship body and a larger sensor — E2-S6, E2-S6G, E2-F6, E2-F6 Pro, E2-F8, and their Mark II versions — but only in crop mode there, because MFT lenses do not cover a Super 35 or full-frame sensor. It does not fit the Z CAM E2, E2C, or E2N / E2N Mark II: they do have a Micro Four Thirds mount, but a fixed, non-removable one. Nor does it fit the P2-R1 PTZ cameras, which have an integrated lens.
