Product Introduction:

Interchangeable Leica M mount for Z CAM cameras with the Flagship body. It replaces the factory EF mount (the MFT mount on the E2-M4) and lets you attach compact Leica M rangefinder lenses directly, without an adapter. Typical use cases are lightweight rigs on a gimbal, a drone, or in confined spaces where an EF or PL lens is too big and heavy.

The mount is purely mechanical and has no electronic contacts — iris and focus are controlled manually on the lens, and the camera receives no lens data. The lens is secured by an OPEN/LOCK locking ring. The short flange distance of the M mount also leaves room to attach a range of other manual lenses via thin M adapters; adapters are not included.

Compatibility: Z CAM cameras with the Flagship body — first generation E2-M4, E2-S6, E2-S6G, E2-F6, E2-F6 Pro, and E2-F8, second generation E2-M4 Mark II, E2-S6 Mark II, E2-S6G Mark II, E2-F6 Mark II, and E2-F8 Mark II (including the PixelLink "s" variants); for the Mark II series, Z CAM lists the M mount directly among the optional mounts. It does not fit the Z CAM E2, E2C, or E2N / E2N Mark II — those have a fixed Micro Four Thirds mount — nor the P2-R1 PTZ cameras, which have an integrated lens. Watch the sensor coverage: Leica M lenses are designed for the full 35mm film frame, so they also cover the full-frame sensors of the E2-F6 and E2-F8.
