Product Introduction:

The VS-PTC-300 is a desktop controller for an entire fleet of PTZ cameras. Compared to the compact VS-PTC-200, it mainly adds network control: in addition to serial RS-232/RS-422/RS-485, it also speaks the IP protocols VISCA over IP, ONVIF and NDI®, so older serially controlled cameras can be mixed with new IP and NDI® cameras on a single desk.

The second major difference is the preview screen — the 3" LCD shows a live image from the selected camera (RTSP, ONVIF, NDI® HX2/HX3), so the operator sees what they are adjusting without needing a multiview. There are also dedicated knobs for exposure, white balance, R/B gain and focus, ASSIGN buttons for quick functions (Home, Freeze, Flip, Auto-Track, Auto-Framing and more) and tally indication.

Capacity is 7 cameras via RS-232, 14 via RS-422 and 255 via NDI®/IP, with memory for up to 256 presets including image settings.

Compatibility: Marshall lists it as an accessory for the CV605-U3, CV612, CV620, CV625 (including NDI versions), CV630 and CV730 (including NDI versions) PTZ cameras and the CV355-27X-IP and CV355-27X-ND3 zoom block cameras. Via VISCA over IP, ONVIF and NDI® it can also handle other network cameras.
