Product Introduction:
The VS-PTC-200 is a compact desktop controller for Marshall PTZ and zoom block cameras. It is built around a four-axis joystick that simultaneously controls pan, tilt, zoom and focus, and around a keypad with direct buttons for the most common image adjustments.
It connects to cameras exclusively over serial — via RS-232 or RS-422 (RJ45), using the VISCA or PELCO-D protocol. It has no Ethernet port, does not control cameras over IP or NDI®, and has no preview screen; the small OLED display serves only for menus and status. This sets it apart from the larger VS-PTC-300, which handles IP, NDI®, ONVIF and has a 3" preview screen.
Options include the CV620-CABLE-06 interconnect kit (RS-232 to Cat5/6 for the controller side) and the Y-ADP-RS232 adapter.
Compatibility: Marshall lists it for the CV605-U3, CV612, CV620, CV625, CV630 and CV730 PTZ cameras and the CV355-27X-IP, CV355-27X-ND3 and CV420-27X zoom block cameras — all of which we carry. Control runs over RS-232 / RS-422, not over IP or NDI®.
