Marshall Electronics CV-4812-8MP – 12mm M12 lens for 8MP cameras
The CV-4812-8MP is a fixed telephoto lens with a 12.0 mm focal length and F1.8 aperture designed for Marshall miniature broadcast cameras with an M12 thread (CV570, CV574, and other M12 models). The lens covers sensors of up to 8 megapixels, and its rear element is treated to suppress IR contamination, so the image stays clean and color-accurate.
The longer 12 mm focal length delivers a narrower angle of view than the shorter 4mm or 8mm variants – approximately 26–50° horizontal depending on sensor size – making it well suited for more detailed shots from a greater distance, typically tracking a speaker on stage or close-ups in POV applications.
